You deserve your wedding to be the most magical day of your life. With that, you need to be surrounded by your favorite people! As a Charlottesville wedding photographer I have seen the difference guests make at a wedding. So you want to invite the right people! Whether you are having a large gathering or just an intimate ceremony, here are the best tips for how to form a Shenandoah wedding guest list!
First step, determine who is on your VIP list. These are the people who know you best and are probably already in the wedding party. Usually this is your immediate family and closest friends. In addition, your VIP list may be family or friends that aren’t in the wedding party but will definitely be in the front row of your ceremony and won’t want to miss a thing!
After deciding who will be on your VIP list, gather the names of your immediate family and your favorite extended family members! You do not need to invite every member of your families, but having those who you are the closest with will make your day that much more special. So in addition to your immediate family, consider inviting your favorite cousins and grandparents!
Lastly, consider all of your friends and acquaintances. For a more intimate wedding only invite your closest friends at the moment. The people who mean the most to you and that you interact with often. However, if you are planning a large wedding then opt to invite all of your friends, co-workers and extended family.
Most importantly throughout the wedding planning process, don’t feel bad for not being able to invite everyone you know. It’s expensive to get married and plan a wedding, it should be spent with the people who mean the most to you – not just those that when you look back may forget they were even present!
Planning your wedding and learning how to form a Shenandoah wedding guest list should be made simple! And you deserve a Charlottesville wedding photographer who is there to help you along the way. Reach out and let’s chat!
