Lydia’s Barn at Evermore Farm is an amazing choice for a Shenandoah wedding venue. As a Charlottesville wedding photographer, I was able to check out the barn. And I absolutely loved the simplicity and sweetness of this venue! Let me tell you a bit about it for all of you future brides!
Lydia’s Barn at Evermore Farm is simple, but that’s what makes it so stunning. Lydia’s Mountain is in Stanardsville, just about 30 minutes out from Charlottesville. After the drive, the view opens up to a white barn set in the middle of green grass, surrounded by mountains and evergreen trees. And all this is just outside of Shenandoah National Park.
The fields and foliage outdoors make for great portraits, but the barn itself is beautiful too. The interior of the barn is lightly-stained vertical board paneling and concrete floors. The barn has bistro lighting, and plenty of small windows. In addition, there are rolling doors open up for fresh mountain air during your event.
Lydia’s Barn classifies itself as a DIY wedding space, giving you a lot of space to run your own show! This Shenandoah wedding venue is fit for a max of 250 guests, and you’ll have access to a banquet room, barn, upstairs game room, and full kitchen. Your reservation runs from 7am-midnight the day of the event. Lydia’s staff provide 10 round tables, 100 chairs, and a bar-on-wheels with each reservation (additional amenities available with an extra fee).
In addition to the venue itself, Lydia also has cabins for rent. Incase you’d like to help out your guests with accommodations, or you’d prefer to stay the night in rather than traveling. Lydia provides lodging close by.
Lydia’s Barn at Evermore Farm is just one of four different wedding venues by Lydia, and each is equipped with different catering, seating, and lodging arrangements. If you’re wishing for rustic-chic, check out their other offerings too!
Having your wedding at Lydia’s Barn at Evermore Farm will certainly set you up for beautiful photos of your love in the heart of the mountain. If this venue is calling your name, don’t hesitate to book me as your Charlottesville wedding photographer!
