Did you know the most popular time of the year to get married is the later months of the year? With so many holiday engagements, I get a lot of inquiries for Spring engagement photos as a Charlottesville wedding photographer. So today I want to share some of my favorite Spring Engagement Photo Outfits to get you inspired and ready for your couples photography!
This is by far the most classic and popular choice I see couples make. And quite honestly, I love it! No matter your style, you will be able to find something you love that is neutral and flattering. In addition, no matter where you decide to take your engagement photos, you will fit right in!
I love how Ashley and Fidel chose brown and white for their outfits color scheme. The white dress screams bridal, and the brown of Fidel’s shirt really contrasts beautifully.
Spring is a time of new life and color, so add a little to your Spring engagement photo outfits! Soft pastels like lavender, light pinks and baby blues compliment the vivd green of Spring well. It also gives a really romantic and playful energy to your photos.
Elizabeth opted to wear a blue striped dress for her country engagement photos. This complimented John’s more neutral attire perfectly!
To me, this is the most bold choice of my favorite Spring engagement photo outfits. Wearing all white, both you and your fiance, brings classy elegance to your photos! Just be sure that you have the same shade of white, otherwise you may clash.
Mimi and JP nailed there outfits for their engagement session! I love how they pop against the vivid greens of Spring in this pasture. And Mimi’s bow?! Absolutely darling!
A really fun Spring trend are florals, so why not add it to your engagement outfit?! There is something truly delicate and feminine about a floral dress, which I love for engagement photos. Whether it is a colorful array of flowers, or simply a pattern of vines, It will look great!
Justine chose to wear a neutral floral dress with an orange-brown leaf pattern. It worked super well with Hunter’s cream shirt and the woodland backdrop of their photos!
Did I save the best for last? Possibly. You don’t get a lot of opportunities to dress up in black tie attire. Which is why you should make the opportunity with your engagement pictures! It’s classy, different, and so much fun!
Brittany and Ryan wore an editorial look for part of their session with me. Then they changed into something that felt more “them” for the rest of the session. It was the perfect mix of formal and casual!
No matter what you choose to wear for your engagement photo outfits, make sure you feel comfortable! Go with a style that feels like you! And if you love a trend, see how you can make it your own!
